This is one of the paintings I have been working on for the Art Exo. It is a massive A2 size! I have a sore arm already from drawing! I can imagine this up in a very large fun kitchen. What do you think?

Shoot it, Sketch it: Tulips
Good morning! If you follow my Instagram, you would have seen a picture of me starting this painting. We have a beautiful vase of white tulips and I couldn’t help but paint them! This is one of the paintings I’ll be featuring at the Nelson Art Expo in July. What do you think?
Shoot it, Sketch it: Doily Rocks
I’m back again for the Shoot it, Sketch it feature! Last week Alana from The Little Leaf and I did an art project inspired by the desert so I missed the feature.
Today I drew the doodle rocks that were featured in this DIY a few months ago. Ive kept them sitting on this doily ever since!

Art Project / The Desert: Day 1
Art Project / Inspired by the desert: Pink flowered cactus.
For the next 3 days, Alana from The Little Leaf and I will be drawing and painting artwork that is inspired by the desert. We love doing projects together. Not only can we encourage each other to get some work done but having specific themes always makes us think outside the box with artwork for our shops. I made a Pinterest board here to help me get started! We are planning on doing these sorts of projects all year so keep an eye out and if you want to join in, we would love that!

Helllooooo! Are you ready for another round of Shoot it, Sketch it? I LOVE this photo of a monarch butterfly I took. Purple and orange look so good together! And I love the bokeh in the background.

Shoot it Sketch it: Monarch butterfly
Well guys, here is my Shoot it Sketch it for this week! I’m really excited to share this one because of how much I am in love with it. Arlo and I chased this monarch for hours the other day (I will be sharing more photos of it later this week). I couldn’t help but want to paint all these bright colours! I did it as an A2 size and framed it for my exhibition. It is only available as an original.
