DIY: Studded leather handbag.

So ive been browsing Etsy and found studs for sale… since then Ive been hunting out something to stud and decided to test it on this bag. LOVE the results. And what a perfect travel bag for me to take to the U.S! I had so much fun designing this and highly encourage any of you to give it a go. When it comes into summer I plan on doing the same to some denim shorts :)
Supplies needed for this project: Studs, pliers, kraft knife, a ruler, chalk and something to stud! First I designed my pattern and using the chalk, measured it out. Then using a kraft knife I poked holes where I wanted the studs to go. This way I wasnt putting too much pressure on the studs hinges and was able to line them up nicely! Fold in the backs of the studs using pliers. Annnnd youre done! Bring on my holiday in San Fran :D xo Bec
