Yusss! After a year of photographing monarchs on flowers I finally got 2 in one shot. These two were fluttering around these sweet white flowers while I sat on the grass enjoying spring. I hope you’re all having a fab week!
Eeeeee SPRING! A few photos from last weekend when I walked through a local flower garden and found these beauties! Which is your fave image?
Today I’m going to start a new painting – on canvas instead of paper though. I found an art easel at the recycle center for $4! And it inspired me to think bigger with my art…excited to see what comes of it!
You can probably tell from my Etsy Shop that I am always a sucker for anything floral…especially in nature. This weekend I am gathering photos to inspire all the art I want to get done… Time for an adventure into the New Zealand landscapes!
What do you have planned for your weekend?
Hey! Today Im sharing a few photos of some terra-cotta pots I painted. We’ve been needing some greenery in the house and since the fireplace isnt working, I thought this would a good spot for some plants to hang out :) For the pots, I used masking tape to create different stripes and painted them using a cream coloured house paint. I love that test pots are so cheap! Have you got a favourite indoor plant? I’d love to add to my new collection! xo Bec
Here a few more kiwi photos for you all… The subject of this post: this beauuutiful cow! She stood there posing the whole time I was taking photos. So sweet. Apart from the amazing photo opportunities in the New Zealand countryside, I absolutely LOVE the smells here. The distinct and unexplainable smell of sea spray across native NZ bush. If any of you ever visit NZ I highly suggest going waaay out into nature and just sniffing! haha xo Bec
