Another week filled with art, photography, work and walks on the beach with Frankie (whos going through a crazy chewing stage. At the moment the lounge is filled with ripped newspaper!).
Last night I went to the opening of a very exciting new venture happening in Nelson that I’m involved with – called the Little Beehive Co-Op. It includes a HUGE amount of creativity, artyness and a very cool space you’ll be able to visit if you’re in town…full post coming in the next few weeks!
Article: These photos are gorgeous – Portraits of India’s Holy Men. I love the colours & how real each portrait feels.
Video: New favourite song + a cute video clip! ‘Falling’ by HAIM
Quote: ‘You can mimic the result, but not the creativity’ – Sonya Teclai. Ha! Perfect for all the artists out there =)
I wanted to introduce you all properly to the latest member of our family… Frankie!
He is a beautiful little black lab (we think he has a mix of something else but not sure what) and he is just delightful. Sooo well behaved already.
We got him from the SPCA a few weeks ago. He had been dumped in a box on the side of the road and was then taken to the SPCA in Nelson. I cannot believe someone would leave such a gorgeous little animal like that. But on a positive note – we now have the pleasure of having him in our lives!
Here a few snaps I got of him enjoying the beach for the first time… gaahhhh SO cute!
Do you have any pets? What do you love most about having them around?
This past weekend Mum and I took a trip down to the Ellerslie Flower Show in Christchurch. It was better than I imagined it to be! A nice sunny Christchurch day, live music and a perfect creative vibe in the air. Here are a few snaps from our day there.
One of my friends received gold for the Mexican inspired design above – soooo clever huh! I love the use of colours, reflective patterns & texture in the plants.
If you get the chance to go next year – I highly recommend it!
Have you been to Ellerslie?
