Another week filled with art, photography, work and walks on the beach with Frankie (whos going through a crazy chewing stage. At the moment the lounge is filled with ripped newspaper!).
Last night I went to the opening of a very exciting new venture happening in Nelson that I’m involved with – called the Little Beehive Co-Op. It includes a HUGE amount of creativity, artyness and a very cool space you’ll be able to visit if you’re in town…full post coming in the next few weeks!
Article: These photos are gorgeous – Portraits of India’s Holy Men. I love the colours & how real each portrait feels.
Video: New favourite song + a cute video clip! ‘Falling’ by HAIM
Quote: ‘You can mimic the result, but not the creativity’ – Sonya Teclai. Ha! Perfect for all the artists out there =)
Hello! This week has been full of beautiful social events annnnd getting ready for Christmas – have you started shopping for prezzies?
Also, this weekend I will be adding a new item to the shop so keep an eye out.
This weeks video, article & quote are below… isnt that quote the best?
♦ Video: This beautiful time lapse video of New York city makes me want to hop on a plane right now and visit. I love it when someone sets out on a mission as big as this and creates something stunning for all to admire. So very cool.
♦ Article: I absolutely LOVE this. Seriously beautiful photography by Luke Casey of his view as he traveled the world by sea.
♦ Quote: “Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life” – Picasso
Good morning! I hope your week is going well.
This week I have been working on floral lettering (you can check it out here) and now am busy working on Christmas stock for the shop. I am so so excited to share my new products!
Another beautiful week for me… I have started exercising every morning which, if you know me, is a huge rarity! But its been a really nice feeling being up so early, seeing the sun rise and the birds chirping on these amazing sunny & snowy spring days.
I hope you all have a perfect weekend planned – I’m starting my birthday celebrations early with a manicure and a couple of glasses of champagne! Bliss…! =)
New Zealand got hit by a pretty wild storm this week so while dodging the raindrops and cloudy days I have been enjoying coffees & croissants, blogging, arty days and graphic design projects.
It’s my birthday in a few weeks so it’s time to start planning new goals for my 25th year of being on this amazing planet =)
What are your plans this weekend?
