Hello hello! Isn’t this year just whizzzzzing by? It dawned on me the other day that we are almost half way through 2014 – say whaaaat?
For me it’s time to refocus on this years goals and anything I’d like to work on to achieve them before the year is over. One of my main goals being to create a calendar for 2015 full of watercolour drawings!
On Wednesday night we went to Rhys Darby… He is doing a comedy tour called Mr Adventure – pretty sure I got a 6 pack from laughing so hard. Anyway if you’re not sure who Rhys is there is a video link below – you may recognise him from Flight of the Concords as Murray!
Article: A series of images of the traditional life in the Siberian Arctic. I love this insight and the emotion portrayed in the beautiful pictures. It’s so far from my life here. Truly stunning.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend planned. A few home DIYs and some thrifting is in order for me. Plus a trip to the market for fresh flowers & coffee dates :)
It’s been suuuuch a whirlwind crazy week! A few months ago mum and I decided doing up a house would be a fun adventure together – so here we are. Over the past week we have packed and lifted and are slowly putting everything into it’s right place. It is crazy how much ‘stuff’ you accumulate over the years. I’m excited to share our journey as we do up the house and as you can imagine, I have hundreds of super amazing ideas!
Yaaay for my word ‘adventure’ this year! I hope you’re all having a memory making & exciting week,
Good morning lovely friends. This week I’ve been working on some art designs which I’ll share on the shop soon. It feels so good to be drawing again! Summer is so perfect in NZ at the moment – I am enjoying dining outdoors, maxi skirts, all the delicious berries & glasses of champagne with friends.

My art exhibition ‘of wildflowers & wings” ends this weekend. It’s been so amazing having my art displayed at the Old Post Office Store. If you’re in the area head out to the Moutere & treat yourself to this little slice of paradise!
Good morning! This week I set up my art exhibition ‘of wildflowers & wings’ I’m always so nervous having my art on view like this! But it feels so good to push through arty barriers.
We are having beautiful summery weather and I went for my first swim of the season. Golden sands and crystal clear blue water – Nelson summers are the absolute best. I cannot wait for the outdoor movies to start!
How is your Christmas shopping going? I haven’t even started. Only 6 sleeps to gooo.
Article: look at the amazing paintings/doodles by Augustin Lesage I absolutely love the mix of colours and how huge these works are.
