VSCO Photo Editing App

VSCO APP flowerVSCO APP flower 1 VSCO APP leafVSCO APP leaf 1 I thought it would be cool to start sharing some of my favourite Apps with you all. Arlo is addicted to the app store so is always sharing new ones with me. Most of them I dont use but there are some that stick. VSCO Cam is a photo editing app which can make your photos look aged, vintage and beautiful. I absolutely love all the filters to choose from and that you can make the images look as old and as new as you wish.

A new layout for my week in pics! Doesn’t it look so much better? This layout allows for 7 pics each week which means I will get my Project 365 complete. At the end of the year I hope to use all the pics in a project. Nelson has been getting some gorgeous sunsets over the past week! There is one above that I captured on my phone. Hope you all have a relaxing weekend…xobec

This week I made the BEST cake ever. See the recipe here if you want to test it out. I also got my new, beautiful camera. All paid for by my art sales and exhibition. I’m so soo excited and although I still have a lot to learn on it, I have been having a big play around testing out settings. How come I didn’t buy an SLR sooner?
In the following weeks, I will be sharing a few Easter DIY’s that I’m working on so keep any eye out. I hope you all have a fab weekend planned, xobec

Project 365 update

Project 365 update3

Project 365 is proving harder than I thought! For me its easy to take a photo a day but once it has a theme, I go through waves of getting stuck and having a lot of ideas. But Arlo and I are still having fun taking photos…they just arent every day.
Only a week until I get my new camera! Eeeeee excited. I’m sure there will be a major surge of photography once I have the little precious in my hands.
Are any of you trying out a 365 project? Leave a link in the comments if you are!

This week has been a relaxing one…working on the blog and getting inspired to paint. Summer is being perfect here in New Zealand so Arlo and I are taking advantage of it by eating outdoors, evening walks at the beach, morning coffees by the water. Life is what you create it to be. And we are creating our own little lives filled with what Arlo and I love. Its fun! And exciting! And I am really happy to be sharing it with all my sweet readers :)
