Hello hello! 2 weeks ago I got told I was next in line for exhibitions at Little Beehive Co-Op! So since then, I have been working on a range of artworks to feature. I am sooo excited to have my work on view in such a stunning & creative environment.
The artwork has a selection of work featuring portraits, hair, florals, & of course…birds.
The exhibition titled ‘OUTLINES’ is on display from August 4 – September 8 at Little Beehive Co-op, 123 Hardy Street, Nelson
Pretty much all of these photos are related to my exhibition. It is all I have been focusing on for the past few weeks! If any of you missed my post on my opening, click here to check out the amazing day I had. I am excited to now get back on track with more paintings, blog ideas and goals annnnnnd I am working on something new for the shop! Its in the planning stages so I will share it shortly.
I hope you have all had an exciting week full of creativity and happiness!
Well guys, my exhibition opening was just amazing. I was very nervous and excited about the whole thing and thoroughly enjoyed setting up, meeting the girls at The Old Moutere Post Office where it was hosted and chatting to everyone who came. I really couldn’t have wished for a more perfect morning.
The Old Moutere Post Office is a little boutique like store that has handmade jewellery, clutches, stationery, art & prints right through to locally made cheeses, chutneys, jams and pottery. It is the CUTEST! And I felt so privileged to be there. You can check out more info on their Facebook page here. Make sure you like their page so you can see more New Zealand handmade goodies.
The girls there organised and put on this phenomenal morning tea with everything I love and adore… brownie, club sammies, cupcakes, strawberries… waaahhhh just look at all the pretty china teacups! Can you tell I was in heaven?! Seriously so overwhelmed at everything right now.
I sold 2 originals, 5 prints and a heap of little cards. I am so happy and am feeling on top of the world. Thank you to everyone who came to the opening and to everyone who reads my blog. You guys are the reason I am doing this and love my life!
Hellooo! Yipee nearly the weekend and….my exhibition is next week eeek! So excited (and a little bit nervous) about getting everything sorted and looking perfect. Having an exhibition is definitely a lot more scary than putting your art on the internet for others to check out and enjoy. One thing I have found in the past 6 months (and what I love about the blogging world) is that every comment I have had has been positive. When people view your work in person you see their expressions and reactions which can be harder.
If any of you live close by, I would love to see you there for the opening! The info on it is here. Have a wonderful weekend!
Hey guys! Currently I am organising my first Clouds of Colour exhibition. I’m so excited to have my artwork on show. Here is what my poster looks like and a few photos from my week organising, designing new pieces to display and deciding which to display! For any of you living nearby, make sure you check it out!
The exhibition is named ‘ZERO POINT FOUR’ because this is the size of ink pen I use in all my art! Cool huh? Arlo thought of it. Hes very clever like that.
Have any of you done exhibitions? And have any super tips for me? Im excited! xo Bec
