I have had this little monarch butterfly wing sitting on my desk since I found it a few months ago. I couldn’t bare throwing it out so it has been sitting here waiting to be used on something creative. Art journal- you are the perfect way for me to showcase this precious little wing. What do you think?

Art Journal: spread your wings & fly
Alana from The Little Leaf and I have recently been checking out art journal ideas on Pinterest. It is just a really nice way to express some creativity using different mediums, colours, typography and more. I had such fun creating this first page! This will be a continual feature on Clouds of Colour.
If you are into scrapbooking or designing an art journal and have some examples of your work, I’d love to see it! Just leave a link in the comments.
PS: Yes this is little me!

Shoot it, Sketch it: Fuschia
For the Shoot it, Sketch it drawing today I have used this photo for inspiration. Sometimes I dont like to copy a photo I have taken, exactly. But rather use it to get the correct balance and measurements in a piece of art. Today’s drawing is an example of this.
Have an amazing week, friends! Time for me to get organised for a nice long weekend off over Easter!
Easter Printable
Morning lovelies! Today I’m sharing something exciting for the kids- an easter colouring in page, hand drawn by me. I hope you like it! And if you end up printing it out and colouring it, I would love to see! You can upload an image to Facebook and tag the Clouds of Colour page. All you need to do is click here, download the file and print. One day I hope to illustrate a children’s book using my hand drawn style. I think it would be an amazing adventure. Happy Easter!
Monthly Recap
This month has been totally focused on my exhibition which you can read about here and here. I have had so much fun with the whole process, getting ready, organising and planning, the opening… And now my hard work is paying off. Its heartwarming to see.
Favourite photos I took this month have been this Monarch butterfly, buzzy bee bokeh and purple neon. And my favourite DIY this month would have to be the Amethyst Necklace which you read the tutorial for here.
For March I will be focusing on getting more artwork onto the Shop, creating new features for the blog and … working on a project with Alana from The Little Leaf!
Thank you soooo very much to all my fabulous readers!
