Since moving into our new home, I have had a brain full of sooo many ideas. This one was inspired by the floral lettering I have available on my Etsy Shop and after browsing Pinterest – I came across this idea! So here is my version using the same technique..
I used cardboard paper mache lettering from the craft store which I then cut the top of so it was hollow. Next, I cut, fitted and glued pieces of floral foam – this made fastening the fake flowers soooo easy. Remember to cut a hole in the back of each letter so you can fasten them to the wall.
I also found these black plastic birds to surround my pretty floral letters.
This is the first piece of artyness to go up in the new house. I looooove it! And thought it was a perfect DIY for Valentines Day.
Do you have anything special planned for Valentines Day this year? Any favourite DIY’s?
Good morning lovely friends! Today I am teaming up with Carly from Happy Little Kiwi blog & Alana from The Little Leaf to bring you some gift wrapping ideas. We love doing projects together & plan to do of them over the coming months. Having a creative project that we work separately on but encourage each other with – is such an amazing way to work.
Today I have 3 ideas:
♥ Gold & yellow mixed with fake flowers & doilies
♥ Maroon mixed with feathers & little pegs
♥ Goodie bags with washi tape pegs
You can find hundreds of cool washi tape pegs ideas on Pinterest – I love the touch they add to a gift.
Oooooh I cant wait to wrap Christmas prezzies this year!
Today I’m sharing a simple idea for Valentines Day. If you’re giving someone something small like jewellery this would be perfect! Supplies needed: patterned paper, scissors, a small box and modpodge.
Using some patterned paper I cut out small and large hearts then used modpodge to stick them randomly over the box. Leave to dry before finishing with some pretty bakers twine!
A perfect little handmade touch for your loved one…
