Good morning! If you follow my Instagram, you would have seen a picture of me starting this painting. We have a beautiful vase of white tulips and I couldn’t help but paint them! This is one of the paintings I’ll be featuring at the Nelson Art Expo in July. What do you think? xobec

Art Journal: Purple Flower Doily

Ooooooh I LOVE how today’s art journal turned out! I used a purple ink pen to outline the hand drawn part of the flowers then soon after I applied water colour paint. It blurred it in a way I haven’t experienced before. I need to think of something beautiful to make with all these art journal pages… at the moment they are floating around my desk! Have you got any ideas? xobec

Art Journal: Monarch butterfly

Phone Photo Friday

I have really been enjoying the autumn colours, flavours, flowers and fashion this week. I finally got my dream ghost chair for my studio desk, repainted a set of drawers for our bedroom and found a flower market! So our house is full of beautiful vases and the sweet perfume of flowers. This week I feel extremely thankful for every little bit of my life.
