August Recap

August 2013

What’s happened this month… My holiday to Japan is what happened! You can see my adventures here, here & here. This experience opened my eyes in a huge way. It was honestly the best experience of my life – the only way I can describe it is a moment I had on a beach whilst there. I sat on the golden sand with the waves crashing at my feet and thought ‘this is pure magic. My inner everything feels fulfilled!’.
Now I’m back New Zealand!
And it’s time to take what I felt and put it into some new beautiful artwork. (And maybe plan my next adventure!).
A few fave posts this month have been: this Bicycle art print I My Art Process I Signs of Spring I Art Product: Artline Pens
Bring on September and all its beautiful spring goodness!xobec

Monthly Recap

2013 June Recap

Again… this month has absolutely flown past. Gearing up for Art Expo Nelson has been my main priority. I have 11 works that I am submitting and they’re all completed and being framed (yipee!). I am really looking forward to seeing all of the other wonderful artists that are involved. A few of my favourite pieces I am including are: Doodle Doo, Floral Paris, Dragonfly and Red Poppies.
I also shared two photo editing app reviews here and here – these were really fun to experiment with!
A few of my favourite photography posts were: Hidden in the undergrowth, Ginkgo, Raindrop Red Rose & some New Zealand Landscape shots.

This month is about getting back into a routine with my art, working on a blog design for an extremely amazing Nelson photographer, saving for my holiday to Japan, brainstorming ideas for my birthday in September and starting to brainstorm for Christmas designs and market stall layouts – exciiiiting!
What do you have instore for July? Anything special?
Thank you all so much for the love, support and comments on Clouds of Colour – you are all super stars! xobec
