This week I worked on a cute wee range of gift tags, available in a pack of 8 on the Clouds of Colour Shop.
Work has been sooo exciting this week as the container of American Vintage arrived into the store – you can read here and here for my adventure to LA where my boss & I raced around collecting beautiful furniture for the store here in Nelson.

Good morning! WordPress has been a bit funny not letting me log in these past few days. But fiiinally I’m back on! Nelson – actually most of New Zealand – is experiencing the most crazy storm with lots of trees falling over – a chaotic wind!
In this weeks Friday post are few extra photos from my trip away to LA (if you missed it, you can read about it here). I love finding photos on my camera that I’d forgotten about!
Look at this beautiful photo below that mum took of Frankiiiiieeeeeee!
Article: This is the best. A child’s innocent face seen from above.
Video: This video is awesome. It shows how the father of this girl took a photo of her everyday for 14 years then made it into a vid- such a cool idea!

Another week filled with art, photography, work and walks on the beach with Frankie (whos going through a crazy chewing stage. At the moment the lounge is filled with ripped newspaper!).
Last night I went to the opening of a very exciting new venture happening in Nelson that I’m involved with – called the Little Beehive Co-Op. It includes a HUGE amount of creativity, artyness and a very cool space you’ll be able to visit if you’re in town…full post coming in the next few weeks!
Article: These photos are gorgeous – Portraits of India’s Holy Men. I love the colours & how real each portrait feels.

Quote: ‘You can mimic the result, but not the creativity’ – Sonya Teclai. Ha! Perfect for all the artists out there =)
Good morning good morning! Phewwww what a week. Our home is sloowwwwly coming together – to the point where I will be able to take beautiful photos to share with you all. We are still finding spots for everything, and now that Frankie the little puppy is in our lives, everything has to be above his height in the house or it gets chewed!
I have been working on a few new artworks – a few simple & fun designs!
Annnnd this weeks…
Article: Check out these craaaazy Wood Sculptures! This sort of art always blows me away because my impatience would get the better of me if I ever attempted anything close to this. Sooo amazing.
Video: A Time Lapse of New Zealand by Shawn Reeder. I thought it was perfect to share this after my post of the Lewis Pass last week.

Good morning lovely friends! This week we have been soooo over excited because… WE GOT A PUPPY! He is a beautiful little black lab and is just so so delicious. He wakes up every morning and surprises us every day with his happy little face. Gaahhh I am SO in love! So (just a warning) there may be many photos of him in the months to come.
Oh, and after a few days of trying to think of a cute name for him – I think ‘Frankie’ has stuck :)
Do you have any cool dog tricks I should teach this little guy?
